WELCOME!
Welcome, and thank you for your interest!
I am a solo practitioner, focusing my private practice on estate planning. Whether it be to discuss your needs for a Will, trust, power of attorney, health care proxy or other advance directives, I’d be more than happy to meet you at my office or in your home, or anywhere in between. My office is in West Springfield, Massachusetts, and I live in South Windsor, Connecticut.

Some clients like to meet with me privately in a one-on-one setting; others prefer to have family members involved to make it more of a group discussion. This is your life, and how you want things planned is a deeply personal decision. You should make those decisions from an educated position and, if you want, with the assistance of your family and friends.

Two very simple sayings are pertinent to this topic: (1) “Remember, tomorrow is promised to no one;” and (2) “Be Prepared” - the Boy Scout motto. Every estate planning attorney can tell you horror stories of family conflicts where siblings stop talking, tremendous amount of money are wasted on attorneys and court proceedings, and family relationships are irreparably damaged. None of us want that for our families and loved ones after we are gone. Many of these problems could have been avoided with some simple planning, organization and communication.

I’m not selling fear here. I’d bet that every single one of you reading this will live to go to bed tonight and wake up tomorrow morning.
I get it – not many of us like to think about estate planning, death, incapacity. Very depressing and stressful stuff! We'd much rather do just about anything else. We all know we should have some planning in place, but with all the demands of our day-to-day lives, who wants to think about dying or being incapacitated? It is too easy to say “I’ll deal with that later.” And, it is just as easy to kick it further down the road when ‘later” eventually comes around.

In this profession, one of my main goals is to help clients create estate plans in a patient, low-stress manner, where I can teach them along the way to make informed decisions. My job is not just to create documents; it’s to talk with my clients, hear their concerns, understand their motivations, and make sure they know not only what they are signing, but more importantly, why they are signing. When my clients leave my office, I want them having a sense of comfort and confidence that I am providing them with personalized attention, knowing that every client's situation is different.

All I’m saying is, it really can’t hurt to do some thinking about planning, and then take the first step -- talk to someone who can help you determine what type of planning is really necessary and should be important. It is NOT an all-or-none situation; even a little planning is better than no planning.
When you’re ready, feel free to reach out to me: call, email, text, or message me. I make it a habit to respond to all inquiries within one (1) business day.
Thanks for visiting!
I look forward to assisting you with your estate planning needs.
